Sebastian Trousil is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of City Therapeutics. Dr. Trousil brings extensive experience in company creation and building in the biotechnology industry. 

Prior to joining City, Dr. Trousil served as Principal, New Ventures at RTW Investments, during which he also served as Chief Operating Officer of Yarrow Biotechnology. Dr. Trousil co-founded Harbinger Health, serving in leadership roles from its initiation to early proof of concept. Earlier in his career, Dr. Trousil worked at Flagship Pioneering. 

Dr. Trousil received a master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Vienna and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Cancer Research from Imperial College London. He completed postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was awarded the Tosteson & Fund for Medical Discovery Postdoctoral Fellowship.
